AWC Bowling Tournament 2015

The ASEAN Women's Circle of Jakarta organizes an annual bowling tournament that is always eagerly anticipated by all members of AWC. This year, the bowling tournament was held in Hailai Bowling Alley, Ancol, Jakarta on 7 April 2015.

As many as 15 teams comprising ladies from the ten ASEAN Member States and the ASEAN Dialogue Partner countries participated in the tournament.

The bowling tournament opened with remarks by AWC's Vice President Mrs. Doris Novicio from the Philippines. The first throw was performed by Mrs. Caecilia S. Legowo, the Chairman of Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP), a ladies' association of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Indonesia.

A sumptuous lunch of Indonesian dishes was provided.
